Hannover-Stöcken and are painted in THW blue livery with body-coloured
bumpers and hubcaps

Nordhoff was speaking to his crowd of workers in the Wolfsburg factory,
during the celebration of the 1 Millionth Volkswagen, on 5th of August,
1955. The unique milestone car was finished in an eye-catching gold paint,
the chrome trim was covered with rhinestones, and the interior was dressed
up in luscious red velvet

Wolfsburg plant was very impressive. The equipment could form, punch and
weld cold-rolled steel sheets into finished roof sections at a rate of
240 units per hour
