Pete's 1970 Home Built Trike

My Trike started life as a 1970 Beetle and I think it had a "hard life" with 9 previous owners. The body/floor was totally rusted out, although it was drivable - just! The vehicle was rolled onto its side and the "gas axe" deployed to separate the engine/gearbox/torsion bar/rear suspension from the "dead" bodywork. After several months of bending new steel tubing to form a new chassis to my design. Being disabled with oste an all new "hand made" upholstery done for me by "Glenn". The front end was salvaged from a Honda VF750, although the actual handlebars are my own design and make. This Trike is going to give me and my family loads of fun this year, maybe even more now we have just bought a VW "Wedgie" Camper that will be towing the Trike around when needed.
