Chris' Sand Rail

I found this VW sand rail around February. Wewent back and talked to the owner in March and he was telling me that he started building it about nine years ago, and lost interest in it. So there it sat not complete. He had everything done except for the wiring. We came to an agreement on the price and we headed home. My plan was to have it done by the Bug-Out (last Sunday in May) that gave me about two months to strip it down and start from scratch. With the help of my five year old daughter and the patience of my wife the car was complete and running on the 10th of May. Ready in time for the Bug-Out. I race it on the 1/8th mile at the Bug-Out and ran the best time of a 10.99. Since then I can't keep my two daughter's out of the car.
