Steve's 1973 Double Cab

The Double cab is a '73 European model, meaning it has the upright 1600cc engine which was discontinued in all type 2's in the United States in '72. It was brought into the states by a U.S. soldier after it was relieved of it's duties as a military vehicle. The Double cabs were not imported into the U.S. after '72 due to a tax tarif, which makes it even more rare. It's got a little under 500 miles on a brand new engine and will hopefully have it's original gates back on soon.
