Paul's 1967 VW Camper Van
I
have bought a 1967 VW Camper Van in Oxford
in England. Originally it was a Swiss
army van used by the army in Switzerland
that was imported into England in 1998.
The guy who I bought it off converted
it into a Camper Van, and it is one of
the best vans around. It only has 34,000
kilometer's on the original engine and
still has all the original panels and
was never welded. I got a lot of spare
parts with it including the original army
roof rack and the original army tow hitch
for a trailer. It was a dark army green
but the guy who I bought it from had the
van sprayed off white on top half and
green on bottom half by a professional
VW restorer who is well known in the VolksWorld
magazine.
