This is one rare kit car, I haven't seen another one around. I obtained it in 1999 when my Dad passed away from Cancer. It is very special to me, and him. He was a VW nut himself and I think it's in the blood, lol.

My father bought this Dune Buggy in 1972 from a man that lived in Foxborough, Mass. He bought it in pieces (because it is a kit car) and brought it home and put it together along with one of the hundreds of motors he had kicking around in the garage. Him and I drove it everywhere in it.

His plan was to paint it red and fix it all up, but he worked and built so many things that he never got the time to do it before he became sick in the summer of 1998. Soo my intention is to finish it for him, and i will.

I also have a 1971 Super Beetle that I am in the process of fixing up and I have a 1999 New Beetle that I also bought in memory of him.
