This is my 1974 Type 1 VW 1600cc with 40mm duel carbs, Hurst shifter, high volume oil pump with filter, and a 96 plate oil cooler with fan. The engine is all chromed out with a 009 distributor, The wheels are American Racing from 1998 Chevy Monte Carlo with 4 wheel disc brakes. I had the rotors re-drilled for the Chevy bolt pattern. I found this bug in Mass, it had been sitting for 34 years waiting for me to restore it. It has all original pans and had only 51,000 miles on body. The motor was on a pallet and was already rebuilt. The reason it sat in storage is the left front quarter was smashed in so I put a new axle beam in and front panel on.
