Max's 1972 Super Beetle

The history of my car, a 1972 Super Beetle, starts five years ago when I received the car as a gift from my brother. He new I was looking for a project car to keep me out of trouble and he purchased the car for $600. Needless to say, the car needed a lot of work and I got started right way. I removed everything from inside, including the dash and headliner and got it ready for a whole new interior. All the windows and chrome were removed to get the outside ready for paint and all new rubber. Once painted and with newly upholstered, I drove the car home to Sacramento from Southern California. Since that time, I have spent a lot of time working on the small and large details. Pretty much everything on the car has been replaced, with the exception on the pan and body.
