1973 Baja Super Beetle
This
is my 1973 Super Beetle Baja Bug, I've
been working on it for over two years.
This is my 4th Bug I've had over the
years. I got it down in Ohio and it
was a mess, bad wiring, no seats, no
tail lights and someone had painted
it with a paint brush. You know? Just
a mess. Over the two years now I've
put it back together with a lot of upgrades.
I sanded it down and had it primmer
brown. One of My sons said "it
looked like a big pile of sh##".
I had My Vietnam Veteran plate on the
front and My younger Son "said
You should paint it camo". So at
a Sunday bar-b-que my two sons and I
went to work. Now I drive it to and
from work and people wave at me all
the time . I'm hoping to find someone
to help me rebuild the motor to a 1776cc
or 1835cc. I take it to car shows and
the younger crowd love it!
